The Rose Festival
Celebrating Tradition in the Heart of Iowa since 1958, the State Center Rose Festival has honored the rich history and small-town charm of our community and its treasured Rose Garden. Located near the heart of Iowa, State Center proudly carries the title of “Rose Capital of Iowa” — and there's no better time to experience it than during our annual festival.
Held each year on the third weekend in June, the Rose Festival brings our town to life. It’s a time when past and present residents come together, visitors are warmly welcomed, and the streets fill with laughter, tradition, and family-friendly fun.
